GAIL ANGELLIS
Will be showing her work at Melissa and Michael Kane’s Studio - 10 Bowdoin Drive, Falmouth Gail Angellis is a New England oil painter whose atmospheric landscapes explore the threshold between the visible world and what lies just beyond it. Inspired by coastlines, marshes, and forests, she works in layered oils with brushes and palette knives, reducing the landscape to light, weather, memory, and atmosphere. Rooted in a lifelong fascination with the intersection of the physical and the spiritual, her paintings invite viewers to linger in the in-between spaces where mystery, presence, and wonder emerge.
DEENA BALL
Deena has always painted from life and sketched outdoors. She strives to capture moments in time and evoke emotional responses, fostering a deeper appreciation for our land, nature, and our relationship with the earth. Light's interaction with the landscape serves as her primary inspiration—from the crisp northern light across expansive vistas to sunlight refracting off Maine's jagged shoreline rocks and the ocean's perpetual shimmer, to light dancing through dense stands of pines, birches, and oaks in the forest.
LISA BARD CLEMENT
Lisa Clement starting using her maiden name, Bard, once she started painting in 2021. Lisa has always enjoyed the creative process. Her medium has changed over the years as she started as an Interior Designer, specializing in kitchen design. She launched Fiddlehead Apparel when her children were young creating one-of-a-kind wearable art. More recently, during the pandemic, she began painting with acrylics – and quickly fell in love with the process. To reduce waste, Lisa upcycles canvases – your support helps make that possible. LISA FERREIRA JONES
Lisa Ferreira Jones of Ember Grove I create my own papers and combine them with my botanically sculpted metal forms. I observe aspects of the natural line formations. Maine's coastline, mountains and plants and bring my studies to the studio, where I express my voice of nature by translating my inspirations into metal forms. I solder or braze these structures together to use with my own handmade papers which I have created with harvest botanical elements from Maine to add texture and color to the design. I welcome custom work whether it is residential or commercial in lighting and sculpture.
MELISSA & MICHAEL KANE
Michael: Stain glass allows me to combine creativity with tradition, turning simple pieces of glass into meaningful works of art. Every piece | create is handcrafted with care, patience and attention to detail. Each piece is unique, reflecting my interpretation and the joy of creating something truly one of a kind. Thank you for supporting handmade art. Melissa: I am a self-taught artist working primarily in Oil and Encaustic. My work is guided by emotion and intuition. I am drawn to bright colors that reflect the energy behind my work. I hope to share that energy and create pieces that spark reflection and connection.
REBECCA LAFLAM
Mud in Maine is the creative work of Rebecca Laflam, a dedicated potter based in Falmouth, Maine. Working from her home studio and at Portland Pottery, Rebecca crafts ceramics that are deeply inspired by the natural beauty of Maine and New England. Her work reflects the textures and tones of the ocean, mountains, her garden, the surrounding forests — bringing a sense of place and tranquility into every piece she creates.

JESSICA M LAPLANTE
I have been painting in various mediums for over 20 years. Most recently I have been exploring the challenges and joy of painting en plein air (outdoors). When in the studio, my recent work has been focusing on color and line. I love to explore how the light shines through our world. I look for the sparkles and glimmers of light in our everyday world.
SANDRINE MOSER
STUDIO ARTISANE I am originally from a little town in Southern France. I started to build furniture in 2010 for my daughter's dolls. From there, I pursued my love for the craft with bigger pieces like bookshelves, tables, and beds. By creating Studio Artisane, I wanted to share my passion and empower my students by teaching "petits et grands" to confidently build their own projects. I want my students to be proud to say, "I built it!"
